Two standout student-athletes from the Tiger Softball program have been named All-American Scholar-Athletes by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), a prestigious national honor recognizing outstanding efforts both on the field and in the classroom.
Recent signee Shalei Morn and returning utility player Kiara Brannon both earned the Easton NFCA recognition by maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher, proving that dedication to academics can match the intensity of collegiate athletics.
Morn, who was also named a Second Team All-Region player for the Tigers during the 2026 season, carried a 3.7 GPA. Her academic and athletic success paved the way for her next chapter, as she recently signed to continue her career with Texas A&M University-San Antonio.
Brannon, a key returner for the Tigers, turned in a 3.9 GPA. Making her achievement even more impressive, she maintained the near-perfect GPA while managing a grueling 18-credit hour course load alongside her demanding softball schedule.
Both Morn and Brannon represent the strong balance of academics and athletics expected of student-athletes in the Tiger athletic program.
