The Marshalltown Community College Tigers delivered a commanding performance at home last night, securing an 81-58 victory over Simpson JV. The Tigers' offense was firing on all cylinders, led by a standout 24-point performance from Sean Conway.
He was one of four Tigers to reach double figures, joined by Tre'Von Coney with 14 points, Tom Guma with 13, and Tristan Christopher with 12.
On the defensive end MCC was anchored by Hassan Bush, who dominated the paint with five blocks. Guma narrowly missed a double-double, leading the team's effort on the glass with nine rebounds.
The Tigers will return to their home court this Saturday, Feb. 7, to open conference play against Indian Hills. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the team for the 7:00 PM tip-off.
